This may be a simple one. I want to take a pdf document and make some changes to it so I am trying to copy and paste into word. Usually this works but in this document it wont allow me to hightlight the text. Any suggestions? 10/1/2006 6:05:04 PM |

some pdfs are made by scanning the document, then saving the resulting image in a pdf, so that the pdf is not made up of text but one large image file. makes the text impossible to select
if this is the case you will have to ^^ or print a copy and see if OCR software can read it for you, I've never had much luck with that though 10/1/2006 8:11:43 PM |

You don't have to print a copy to use OCR software. Why would you print an image file, and then scan it to create. . . another image file? 10/1/2006 8:37:15 PM |
