The more I read Abramoff's personal notes, the more I realize that smarts are not required to be a good lobbyist. The guy seems to have trouble making coherent sentences.

I think he was making it a racial slur, not an actual misspelling. I know, I know, he was Palestinian, not Arab, but he was trying to make what the thought was a joke.

Maybe that is what you are referring to.
