denzel won an oscar for playing a villain

as far as tom hanks, when has he played a villain? (keep in mind that a flawed protagonist isn't a villain)

Robin Williams"

i've liked robin williams better often when he plays a villian. he can be really creepy. sure the movies where he's been a villian weren't the best in the world, but it certainly wasn't because of his performances.

wasn't that movie about the ghost of a student of his (who he killed) haunting the house and his wife finding out about the murder, at which point he tries to kill her? Assuming that's right, if he wasn't the villain then who was the villain in your opinion?

I never saw the movie so I'm only basing this on the previews, but it seemed that Tom Hanks was the villain in The Ladykillers
