When I read a couple of these IMs, I was actually thinking to myself, the pages language and replies seem a little bit "open" and almost "flirty" back up to a point, then he is like "wait, what are you getting at".

So, this actually wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Hell, I'm actually interested to see what spin will get put on this new information, and if the repubs are crazy enough to try to shift the focus from this pedophile onto something else.

wait - i'm confused (mostly because i refuse to go to drudgereport to read his crap).

1) is it being claimed that the IM conversations were completely forged, and both sides of the conversation were written by a 3rd party?

2) or that Foley was not, in fact, talking to a 16 year old boy, but someone else who was pretending to be a 16 year old boy.

If what's going on is #2, then that's immaterial. Pedophiles are caught like that all the time, being it through a "prank" or a sting operation where police officers or other agents pretend to be children.

If it's #1, then he 1) deserves a big apology for having those IMs linked to him, and 2) still deserves to be kicked out of the House and investigated for further wrong doings based soley on the emails, which I assume are still believed to be real.
