Ok I get emails all the time about jobs in the tech field that I'm not interested in but I figure some of you might be interested. Mostly they are contract jobs which is why I'm not interested. But a recent grad or someone who is intersted in getting their foot in the door might be interested. I will post the jobs and if you are interested in a specific one let me know and I can give you as much info as I have.
First 3 to start it off.
Network Engineer Location NJ and IL Valid CCNA required. Associate’s degree from a technical school plus a minimum of 4 years relevant work experience at the Technical Associate level or equivalent experience or Non-technical Bachelor’s degree including 12 credits in a relevant field plus typically 2* or more years relevant work experience at the Technical Associate level or equivalent experience C++ DEVELOPER Location Tampa, FL 5+ years experience in professional software development with heavy emphasis on C++ and thorough understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems. Experience in Relational Database (Oracle) and Java is desirable Expertise with Unix/Linux shell/script programming (Perl, Ksh, Bash, Sed and Awk) is a major asset. Familiarity with multicasting middleware is a plus.
Application Developer Location Mechanicsburg, PA Must have advanced knowledge/experience in both Assembler and COBOL. Not trying to knock the thread, but I don't see the point in it. There are a ton of jobs for experienced professionals (5+ years) out there and several for seasoned professionals (2+ years). I get about 10-15 matches from careerbuilder.comeach month for Charlotte jobs alone ... using a resume that's about 2 years old.
