You can clock a 4600+ to 3.7ghz? Using what magical cooler? Tell you what, if you clock that thing to 3.7GHz with any off-the-shelf or reasonably customized cooler and provide real proof, I'll do my damnest to eat it.

Asus M2n32-SLI Deluxe Wireless Edition ($198: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131011)

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ ($249: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103751)

Geforce 7900 GT OC SLIready X2 ($239 each: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814139004)

2 GIG Paired OCZ GOLD pc2-5400 ($229: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820227047)

Not even a dvd-writer. Dvd roms are 30 bucks. And a sata harddrive? MAYBE 70. No one gives a shit about the case, but I will go ahead and add $150 for good measure, including shipping, and all of that hard labor to put it together. Note the sarcasm.

That comes out to about $1300. Considering you said nothing about it coming with a monitor, printer, or operating system, you are over pricing that baby by 400 dollars.

And that would be if it was never turned on.

Knowing that it is used and has wear (everything used has wear, visible or not) i will take off ten percent (which is VERY resonable, I should take off more), or 130 dollars. That's 1170. The bidding shouldnt get over that, now should it? I bid again, $650.

let's not forget that he's apparently overclocked the system

have you gentlemen heard of the phenomenon known as "electromigration"?

The machine has never been overclocked..(i've seen my boss overclock his same cpu @ 3.7)

the machine is 100% new condition with really no use on it, as i built it to sell it. There is not a damn thing that could be considered "wear and tear" on this machine, it was built to sell, its in perfect condtion.

and yes there are TWO of those video cards running.

so maybe look over everything again, and you will know this is not over 400$ what i payed for everything (last week).

oh, and you people offering 500/650 or even 1300$ your fucking idiots. I know exactly how much i payed for everything here, i built it a week ago with the intentions to sell. I KNOW HOW MUCH IT COSTS. and NO i was not expecting to get a full 1700 out of it, but you have to start high. but the machine cost me well over 1300$. (i'm looking at all my reciepts now)

basically what it boils down to is, dont read the thread if you're not interested. or if you're inclinded to make this same rig yourself, go built it for less if you think you can, i dont care. im selling this new rig that i built to sell for a reason. all the rest of you can kiss my ass

You'd better try Ebay or something else if you're going to be that picky on the price.
