I highly doubt that if a plane flew into one of Raleigh's skyscrapers it would make national news.

I take that back, it could make the national news. But not with this much hype. It might make like a 2 minute section of California's evening news.

I mean, a while back ago a truck hit a car and killed 7 kids and it earned a spot on the evening news. But, that was all.

It was a kid flying a single engine plane in Tampa. He hit (I believe) what is now the SunTrust building. They found out later he was on some medication that completely fucked with his nervous system and it made him suicidal.
