Well, I guess now you guys believe my claims of us winning our conference. After witnessing our gameplay potential, you're left with no reason to disagree. I can't absolutely understand why anyone wouldn't think that we can't win out. We're gonna victor over maryland and virginia. Gt will be the only tough obstacle. We will beat clemson. And the rest is history.

We had wake forest beat. We simply let that one slip away from us. We had more total net yards and total first downs than one of the best coached team in the acc. The problem falls back to the sitautional play calling and the turnovers.

First downs Us- 21/ Wf- 13 and they managed to beat us. However, I just noticed a trend in rushing stats. In the games we lost, we also failed to rush over 100 yds (exception wf we had 134, but the run struggled). And D.Evans hasn't showed the ability to carry the entire offense on his back just yet, for a whole 4 qtrs. We need to get ahead of our opponents instead of playing catch up hail marry.

Wake Forest really suprised me. They managed to cease our run with 4 d lineman. With all the zone run plays we call on offense, they normaly destroy this kind of front. Then the secondary played a deep 3rd coverage, and contained us on the inside all day. I couldn't believe this.

This is one of my main concerns about our offense. Other than the sideline bombs, evans can't complete the deep ball down the center with our wrs' in motion. That in mind, he will continue to see alot of deep 3rd coverages like the one above. The corner plays off the wr, with eyes on both qb and wr. In the man, the corner is lead downfield with his eyes off the ball, thus giving the wr the advantage.

Im concered that other teams have noticed this about evans.

I have a reason. Until we fucking beat inferior teams I'm not sold. We get up for the good/great teams and still lose every game we shouldn't. Against 1-A opponents we are 2-0 in games we should lose and 0-3 in games we should win.

We lost one game. In the other we were upset. Are you saying we're not allowed to be upset? Besides, thats over and done with. We got Mar coming up. The have a solid offense and defense. If evans continues to rely on deep sideline passes, we lose. If they shut down our run we lose.

We beat a marginal BC team on a fluke play. We squeaked by a marginal FSU team on some great plays & effort.

Contrary to your beliefs, we're not better than Wake Forest. They came in and beat us in our "impenetrable fortress" (known to the rest of the world as just "Carter-Finley")


If we beat UMD & UVA.... and stay close with GT/Clemson I'll consider this a pretty successful seaon in the sense that we saved what could have been a disaster if we'd left Stone as the QB.

No one has any illusions that we'll win the ACC or even really compete for it though, you're on an island buddy.

we will beat gt before we beat clemson. clemson can run good and we dont do good against teams that are run based. app fsu and bc were pass based teams with weak running games=win. usm and wake are run based teams and they beat us.

gt is not that good at running but better than the teams we beat. clemson is better than all the teams that beat us at running and better than fsu and app at passing so we will really have our backs against the wall in that game and it is the most important game left.

if we win out we can still win the division. its going to be extremly tough but we can do it.

Never a good thing when your Wr has to make 90% of his catches like this. Deep zone automatically takes this away. The only thing evans has over stone is courage. Other than that, my hat goes off to our wide outs. But we're winning, and Im very happy. We are in position to win this thing.

Focus on the run. We gave up the run against WF. Cost us the game.
