I need a external firewire harddrive in the next day or two and the ones at the store are expensive and are huge and the ones online take 2-3 days to ship. Anyone know where I can pick up a 40GB firewire drive around here? 10/24/2006 2:51:44 PM |

is there a specific reason you need firewire? also, define your idea of "huge" and "expensive" with numbers so we can tell you the truth about what you're asking. 10/24/2006 3:38:55 PM |

^ As much as I hate his self-promotion, I have to agree. Stop by a major electronics store if time is more important than money at this point. You won't get "cheap" as a part of the deal though.

^^ Your store looks like shit and the deals this week are terrible.

^^^ for that reason alone, i will avoid compusa in the future at all costs.
... but Perlith called it, just hit up your computer retail store of choice and pay the piper if you need it -now-.

CHEAPEST and easiest way is to get an enclosure that has firewire and get a regular hard drive to put in it. I was in a similar situation, and got a $30 enclosure and a $75 hard drive... now I have a 400GB Seagate drive with USB & Firewire 10/24/2006 9:21:52 PM |
