Alums aside, Garrard is destined to be a quality QB, esp. after yesterday. Sure, it was the Titans, but he's doing it on the next level.

Sounds like he's gonna be the starter from here on out. Del Rio said Leftwich is about 85-90% and doesn't think that he will be 100% for a while and he likes the way Garrard s playing. It sounds like he's trying to cover his ass incase Garrard bombs because he hasn't officially named Garrard the teams starting QB, but I think that Garrard is starting because of performance, not because Leftwich is still hurting a lot.

i mean, if dude had any type of feel for the rush and could move even the SLIGHTEST bit in the pocket we'd avoid at least one fumble per game

jwb, Leftwich is mobile? I don't know if you have ever seen him play, but just because he's black doesn't mean he's mobile. Leftwich is one of the most immobile QBs in the NFL. You knock Dellhomme for his inconsistency, but that's one of the criticisms that is often aimed at Leftwich. He's not a real accurate passer either, his completion percentage this year is 59%, which is .3% over his career average and places him at 21st in the NFL on the year.

yeah delhomme is a dickhead, he's nothing without smith's amazingly acrobatic catches, he throws the ball in the air in hopes of a receiver making a play, and luckily he has some receivers that can. trade dan morgan for garrard and a draft pick, trade delhomme for an offensive lineman or a LB.
