I always have a problem resizing pics. I downloaded a 30 day program off cnet awhile back, but need something else now. Preferably freeware. Any ideas? 11/10/2006 3:11:38 PM |

Best freeware app I ever downloaded:
Mihov's Image Resizer
It also EASILY converts gif to jpg to png, etc. Hit it up, simple, free, no ad-ware, beautiful

If you have Office 2003, Microsoft Office Picture Manager doesn't do a half bad job for most of the tasks I need to do, including resizing. 11/11/2006 5:46:52 AM |

if you have windows xp search for xp powertoys in google. there is an app called picture re-sizer or something. after you install that all you have to do is right click on the picture and say what resolution you want. works great

irfanview is great, esp when it gives the user so many other abilities in addition to easy resizing. 11/12/2006 12:38:00 PM |

if all you want to do is resize, then get the XP powertoy. its perfect, adds the resize commend to the right click menu, works like a charm.

why even add another program to windows when paint does this perfectly? 11/12/2006 6:39:05 PM |

^ he is right about that...the stretch/skew tool does work as a resize.
but i like to resize a bunch of pictures at the same time. i like the right click functionality of the powertoy, i can select as many pictures as i want, right click, set a few options and bam theyre all resized
but if you only want to do it one at a time, then paint or microsoft photoeditor will work fine. 11/12/2006 6:48:05 PM |

isn't that like renting an earth mover when all you need is a shovel? 11/12/2006 8:36:46 PM |

first of all the powertoy will do it a LOT quicker and without opening up a program, also it can handle multiple files.... i hardly consider a 521KB program tweak is that big of a deal for a big time saver...11/15/2006 8:53:07 PM |
