Built it and flew it back in the mid 90s up to 2000, never had a crash with it, it was a Big Birdie Kit that was modified. Flies great, needs some launch device(Hystart, or a drag motor) Only things it need is a new wing link pin, possibly new rechargeable batteries(not been charged since 2000) and new rubber bands for the wing spoilers. The pics don't do it justice the wings are transparent red, and the body is transparent orange, the whole thing has black accents.

Also, you might try selling the plane there. I sold off a pretty large collection of them about a year ago.


Sailplanes are a little harder because of the wingspan, but I got a lot of local interest from those forums.

That's a really nice plane. I remember flying gliders back in the day with my dad. It was quite fun. I'd like to fly again myself, but I don't have the time or space for a model like that at the moment.
