Panasonic CT-30WX15 30" TV

only 9-10 months old...comes with an entertainment center made to fit with it (shelves w/ glass doors).

i also have a ps3 60gb version brand new that i can throw in to make it a package deal...

The TV doesnt support 720i/p. Since most PS3 games are meant for 720, will it display them in shitty 480?

if it works anything like the xbox 360, then you would choose the display resolution (the PS3 supports 1080i/p, 720p, and 480i) on your system and that's what it would output.

its just like any other, the hd-dvd box from twc converts 720p channels to 1080i on the tv; same thing as he said for 360

it shows HDTV in 1080i but it will accept 720p or 1080i channels, etc

like what? i have a 360 and you put the 360 on 1080i mode and when you watch tv with the hd dvr box the cable box automatically converts it...
