I am looking at the C: Drive and it says that I have 27.5 GB of free space left.
is there something else I need to look for to tell me if I need to update my memory or RAM?
(I'm CPU-tarded, btw)
My CPU is running slow lately. I have the newest version of Norton, and no Viruses or spyware are found, but when I click on things like Internet Explorer, it takes FOREVER for it to open.
any help would be great!
thanks. 11/21/2006 6:33:54 PM |

Ditch norton.
Download the spyware tools and run them. Spybot, Adaware...
Quit using IE 11/21/2006 6:35:08 PM |

start -> control panel -> system
and on that first tab you'll see at the bottom ____ of RAM
27.5GB is the amount of hard drive space you have.... also, your computer is not CPU, it's called a computer, the CPU is an abbreviation for your computer processor

27.5GB is how much hard drive space is available (hard drive = long term storage). Memory is something different. For tracking memory I would recommend another program.
I use this because it is free and is not a system resource hog. http://www.memboost.50g.com/ 11/21/2006 6:48:28 PM |
