I have 2 shotguns and a pistol to sell or possibly trade. All are great guns, but I can't get any new guns until I get rid of some of my excess ones.

Shotgun #1 - Springfield Model 67 Series E 12 GA pump 3' Chamber, Produced by Savage Arms, has a 21' barrel, blued with wood stock, Like new. Make an offer

Shotgun #2 - Mossberg Maverick model 88 pump 12 GA 3' Chamber 18.5 barrel, holds 5+1, black synthetic stock, side saddle, Like new. This is essentially a Mossberg 500 with a different safety, same barrels, same parts, just a different safety. Make an offer

Pistol - 357 Mag. Smith and Wesson model 19 Revolver, 6' barrel, Adjustable sights, Brand new black and gray parkerized finish, has houge rubberized grips, 2 speed loaders and some defense ammo. Very accurate and very powerful, the only reason im selling this gun is because I need the money for a 44 mag.

WTB (or trade) - Taurus 44 mag or 454 Casull Revolver.

PM me or post your offer.

Its not a bad deal for that mossberg.

Your getting a like new gun with a sidesaddle which retails for $40, and no tax or shipping. Im willing to make a deal if there are some higher offers

How's the lockup and timing on the Model 19?
How many rounds of 357 and 38 Spl have been shot through it?

I'll give you $200 for the Model 19 without extra info.

As for the model 19, it cycles real smooth with a good clean lockup , i've only put about 100 38 rnds through it and only about 25 357 mag rnds. Its extremly accurate and a pleasure to shoot. It would make a great hunting pistol, or a serious self defense weapon. I can sell the whole setup, pistol, 2 speed loaders, 50 rnds of 357 mag. 158 grain hollow point, and holster for $425 or a solid offer

Ill try and put up some pics tommrow, and I'd be happy to let whoever is serious about buying it come by and take a look at it and get a feel for themselves.

yeah i am hoping its the photogaphy making it look like its been spraypainted.

i think the shotgun i used to have was a springfeild just like that model 67. i didnt have it long, never fired it, but it looks familiar. i think i paid like $125 for it in 2000. a friend of mine had a big black mossberg like that maverick, I really like that one but i wouldnt pay more than $150 for it i dont think.

The picture isnt great and...

I had it parkerized a while back, the blue wasn't in perfect condition and I needed a better finish to carry in wet weather, I talked with the guy and decided to try gray for the frame and black for the cylinder, trigger, and hammer. It didnt turn out as pretty as the other guns he had shown me as examples. I wasn't real happy with the finished look, but what was done was done, it may not be real pretty but it sure as hell wont rust or spot like a blued finish will. The finish dosent have anything to do with firing it. Aye, i'll agree that it aint no beauty, but looks aint why I have it.

Parkerizing, as long as it's oiled, is a great finish for durability and rust resistance.

Is there any top strap cutting?
I think even in perfect mechanical condition $425 is asking a lot just because it's been refinished.

When I bought it, and before I refinished it, it had the original blued finish on it and I couldnt tell that it had ever been fired much. It looked like the previous owner had mainly carried it but never fired it much. The top strap cut is very minimal. Ill post pics if I can borrow a camera again in the next few days. I'd take a good offer on it, im just setting the price around 425 cuz it has new grips, two speed loaders a holster and a box of ammo with it. Give me a good offer.

The best that I can offer on the smith and wesson is $300 cash. But wouldnt a pawn shop offer you more than tww?

300 is still on the lean side. You would be surprised at the rock bottom prices that Pawn shops will offer you for any gun you bring in. Usually they take a minute to look up the actual price of the gun in the book, then they ask for about 100 less than its worth. Next day you will see your same gun marked up 150 higher than you sold it.

what about something like gunbroker.com? You'd probably have to find an FFL dealer willing to help you out, which would probably cost something, but if you get 400+ for it, might be worth it

I don't think you need to find an FFL. You just have to ship it to the buyer's FFL

Red Crow, I don't think you're going to get a better offer than that.

Most gun shops will look up the value (which in this case will already be very low due to the refinish), offer you half of the value, and sell it at a couple dollars less than the book value to give the buyers a "discount."

It is legal for someone to ship to an FFL holder, but most FFL holders personally won't accept a gun from private individuals.

I'll butt out of this thread now. You're probably tired of my posts.
