bought this stand about a month ago, after putting it together I decided it was too big for my living rooom. no scratches of any sort....looks brand new. Whats the maximum weight. I just bought a 56" DLP that weighs 80 lbs. The stand at bestbuy that my tv was sitting on was one similar to yours.

I'll bid 45 on it if it can support my tv.
