I'm looking for anything halfway decent. I'll rent one from the range before I buy anything to make sure I like it, but right now i'm open to suggestions. I have a Ruger 9mm...but it's jamming on me for some reason, and I'm tired of fooling with it. Need something new to play with.


Trying to keep it around $300-$400 or so.

thats the problem, I <3 ruger revolvers, but their autos are lacking, try polishing the feed ramp and opening the lip on the mag some


for that price range you could snag a good used glock or xd

Dude, why don't you just get a carry permit? I'm pretty sure you don't need purchase permits if you have a CHL.

I know this may be a bit steep for you, but i've got a NIB HK P7M13 for $1300. with 3 spare mags. thats around $300-600 less than you'd dind one anywhere else.
