The following is a list of guidlines for everyone to follow in order to keep this forum running smoothly. Every user has had the opportunity to help with the creation of this list and should be aware as to why everything current is in place. As this forum was originally designed to be very lightly regulated we want to make sure it is still fun, entertaining, and casual. At the same time there are some things that will just not be tollerated.

If this forum were to turn into ebay it would suck and lose it's apeal so have fun with it. Make sure at the same time that you do no "blatantly" break any of the rules listed.

Thanks to everyone for the contributions to this thread and hopefully we can all coesxist happily here-lol

Acceptable types of posts/actions:

- Posting offers

- Price checking around the web and quoting other rates.

- Posting relevant links

- Negotiating Price

- Asking the seller questions pertaining directly to the item.

- Notice of PM question in regards to item

- When you post an item for sale be sure to include: Item brand, model number, age, condition, specifications and pics (if u don't have your own go with stock). Please DO NOT post- "big tv for sale" and nothing else

note: You may want to price check your own item before posting. Doing this will prevent you from being lowballed and hassled about "how much cheaper it may be found elsewhere"

unacceptable types of posts/actions:

- Posting your own item for sale in someone elses thread. (make your own!)

- Posting any link or image that does not directly relate to the item being sold.

- Posting "nonsense" offers. ""= super lowball- crazy high.... Although u may disagree- if someone is selling a toothpick and u bid "a million dollars" that isn't funny- it is a space waster. and he same on opposite end of spectrum.

- Posting anything deragatory (weather it be visual or verbal). if you post a picture of some titties in a thread selling a tv you WILL BE SUSPENDED! ALso, posting deragatory comments to the seller or anyone else in the thread is not permitted. If you want to call names, cry about shit, and flame it up then head to chit chat-

- ATTN: TROLLS WHO THINK IT IS FUN TO LEAVE CHIT CHAT AND FUCK WITH CLASSIFIEDS!

*** Its not funny, its not going to happen anymore- every person that posts in classifieds has had their thread ruined by some douche who thinks it is ok to troll in classifieds. This will no longer be tollerated and YOU WILL BE SUSPENDED

- DO NOT post a link to an ebay or craigslist thread with no other information. There is no easier way to get flamed than to post something with nothing more than a link. If you want people to buy your item then you need to take the incentive to create a decent ad.

Additional things to remember

- If you post an item up for sale and it doesn't sell in the time frame you hoped for; DO NOT MAKE A NEW ONE , just bump the one you had.

- Be patient with the n00bs. (you all know what i mean)

- Don't double list an item in more than one thread or cross post. this again, is a suspendable
offense.

I am not trying to be the forum nazi here but everyone who posts in classifieds needs to understand that it is a buying, selling, trading forum.... it is not chit chat and will be treated differently from the other forums.

I will give one and only one warning pertaining to trolling and people plain out fucking up threads before you are suspended.

IF ANYONE HAS ANY QUESTIONS, CONCERNS, OR ISSUES IN DAY TO DAY USE, IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH AN AUCTION, A USER, WHATEVER- PM ME!!!!!! I'M HERE TO MAKE SURE THAT SHIT RUNS SMOOTHLY SO IF U HAVE A PROBLEM LET ME KNOW \

note: Although wee would like to keep flaming out and trading in, if you decide to post something at an absurd price and chose not to price check and follow the posting advice above. do so at your own risk.... In other words- If you are going to be a retard (at my discretion) i will allow a thread to stray off topic a bit for the amusement factor and so the sellers will take the time to make quality threads.

The same goes for posters not following guideliness as for the folks who like to call people out. If you are a poster and don;t follow procedure I will let you receive your lashing, inform you personally of why you are getting the response you are, and if nothing changes...I will delete your thread.
