yes this is for a homework and no i can't find anything on Google...

anybody done any audio processing in C and have any tips for adding/mixing an echo into a wav file?

I've never done any C audio processing, and I don't know exactly how the data is packed in a wave file (I assume frames), but I would guess you would just add one frames data in to the proceeding frame to get a basic echo effect. Diminish the volume for something more spooky sounding, and screw with the pitch (a little harder to do) for even more echoey-ness.

o well.. pretty sure i got the echo... now for this sine wave synthesis mess...
