well, that's not true....it's a budget...if we don't need to spend that much, then we don't. A lot of schools put their facilities budgets in their totals, whereas we don't, because the Wolfpack Club finances our facilities upgrades. That budget would put is in the top 15 of the nation.
Further, this is a budget of what we spend. Our athletics department is very good at meeting an efficient spending model that other schools can't -- some reasons include our access to state contracts and corporate partners in the right areas.
We simply don't need to spend as much as other schools, and we don't report all of our athletic expenditures through our athletic budget, because a lot of it doesn't flow through the athletics department. 12/11/2006 10:18:29 PM |
