does anyone know how to convert from binary to decimal on the Ti-89 ?

Type a binary by preceding with with "0b"......like 0b10101010.
Hit Enter, and the decimal will pop up.

To convert decimal to binary, go to MODE, Page 2, change base to BIN.
Now, type a decimal number.
Hit Enter, and the binary will pop up.

i tried it but for dec to bin it just gives me the dec with decimal point rather than the bin ?? any idea why is doing this ?

for dec to bin type in the dec number that you want converted and then hit second math, scroll down to the base option, select bin, hit enter twice and your done
