How about an chemical engineer that is green belt certified with 1 year experience and already lives in the area?

j/k, I love my job. It would take mad $$ for me to move.

I think GE pays pretty well, starting somewhere around low 60's. But rumor has it every year they cut the bottom 10% of the workforce.

They used to do that, but haven't done it in a while. Quite frankly, I wish that they still did it though.

Pay is pretty good too. And Yes, Greenville is GE Energy, and a small component of Aviation.

bttt.

Still got plenty of openings for engineers, and some finance too. Not just mechanical either.

Each manager had to cut 10 percent of their heads. So they determined who that would be.
