i happen to be a vodka snob. ive tried damn near every vodka i can get my hands on, and belve is what i choose to drink.
vodka is the ONLY liquor i drink


i also get paid very well (relatively speaking) since you brought that up too. so your assumption, although may sometimes be correct, in this case is not.

recently ive been stuck with plymouth gin, i find it has a nice mix and is very palatably pleasing.

if im im going out to a bar or something, it's usually sapphire on ice with a lime, but sometimes sapphire can get rather bland to me, the different aspects of the gin seem to get a rather muttled together. there isnt much distinction as to the different flavorings often, and i like to choose a different gin that seems to lean more towards the juniper and orris root botanicals. primarily i go with sapphire since everywhere will have it.

now, i bought some of the tangueray 10 recently, and was pretty dissapointed with the character. a bit too much of a citrus component, but from what ive read seems to come from an addition that is added after the distillation has occurred, and im not too sold on it.


i enjoyed boodles quite a bit (nice and dry=ish), and am planning on purchasing a bottle of hendrick's next.

a nice thing about gins is that they are all relatively inexpensive.

it goes well with tonic and lime. as above, if im going out, and getting gin and tonic, its always tang. for availability reasons.

but dont get the tang. and lime, thats just a bastardization.
