Permits required for rifles? I thought you only had to get purchase permits for handguns........

colter why are you selling it? And does it need much maintenance or does it, like the Kalashnikov, pretty much work no matter what? I've always wanted an SKS, but was planning on waiting for a gun show to roll around....

Also another question, does this variant of the SKS have the folding bayonet?

you don't need a permit to buy a rifle, only a handgun

it doesn't have a bayonet on it. I'm selling because I have too many guns and need to clear up space in the safe. maint. is pretty basic, pretty much a bulletproof gun like the AK. looks like it just came out of cosmoline. it has handling and use marks on the stock, but internals, everything else looks good.
