I had a question for those who have a laptop. I do alot of traveling and am now changing from a desktop to a laptop. I was curious how easy a 15" to a 17" is to use on a plane? I am leaning towards the 17" but wanted to see what you all thought?
Thanks 12/30/2006 8:24:53 PM |

I just bought a 15.4" widescreen, and it's pretty nice. I'm blind, damn near, from years of masturbation...and a bigger screen would be nice. But I've also come to the conclusion that the 17" screens can be somewhat unwieldy, and what concerns me the most is their durability...they just feel a bit more fragile. 12/30/2006 9:27:40 PM |

yea, 15.4 is big enough. 17 is a bit wieldy as a mobile laptop IMO. 12/30/2006 9:52:35 PM |

I've got a 17-incher, and it's huge if I were to use it in a "carry around everyday" kind of way
I use it primarily as my main machine at home & for traveling (big screen's nice for movies), but would NOT recommend it if you need to tote it each day. Just get a 15-incher with a high resolution screen...you'll get really annoyed at how heavy the 17-inch lappie is 12/30/2006 10:41:26 PM |
