I looked quickly but didnt find a resolution. Hooked up my dvd player via HDMI last night and also the right and left audio cables to my tv (in the hdmi audio connection). I have no audio at all, is a connection dead or cables (there were working with the component cables)? I couldnt think of what to do, tried settings on dvd player and tv, nothing changed. I havent messed with HDMI before now.....thats probably the problem

Ok, finally figured it out..........DVD player only does setup without disc in and the digital audio was turned off.....
