So, I got ahold of my old WRT54G v3 linksys router, and decided I wanted to upgraded to DD-WRT firmware. I download v32 SP2 mini and standard, and went ahead and upgraded the linksys firmware to the v32 sp2 mini, however I think I used the wrt54g image, insteadof the generic image that I now believe I was supposed to use. Anyways, I can get to the dd-wrt control panel, and whenever I click on the administration tab the username/password prompt comes up, and I type root/admin, however it does not log me in. Ive tried every variation I can think of with no luck -- does anyone know how I can get into this? 1/9/2007 6:12:07 PM |

Try a different browser, maybe?
p.s. if it never lets you log in, I will buy it from you for $5. 1/9/2007 7:34:03 PM |

Try using IE. I had a lot of problems with DD-WRT using Firefox.
If you see the control panel, it should be root/admin as the password. 1/9/2007 8:27:39 PM |

I just did this the other day. There is a lot of info out about after you flash it might not behave properly. Did you power cycle the router? 1/9/2007 9:37:44 PM |
