So I am trying to change the ID3 tags for genre for the entire genre but iTunes doesn't appear to have this option. It would be possible to do it in another program say Windows Media Player. The only problem is now I can't get iTunes to sync up with the changes I've made. Anyone have any suggestions? 1/20/2007 3:00:13 PM |

^Actually I think the threads in which Golovko is a douche bag outnumber all other types of Tech Talk threads at least 3 to 1. 1/20/2007 3:25:09 PM |

actually, can you say again what you were trying to do? Bulk edit ID3 tags? I've had some problems getting changes to stay when using iTunes with particular songs/albums. It was quite frustrating. 1/20/2007 6:16:19 PM |

1 - use the browser up top, select the genre, select all, edit 2 - smart playlist, choose songs based by the genre, select all, edit 3 - view library, sort by genre, select the songs you need, edit 1/20/2007 6:23:56 PM |
