95% of all stores are "authorized agents"... Unless it's a corporate store, then guess what, technically it's an authorized agent.. Best Buy, Staples, Walmart, Autozone, Harris Teeter Etc etc etc etc.... They all sell branded products other than their own..

Don't make a smart ass comment that doesn't even hold it's own worth. You're an idiot, did you ever happen to think that, hey.. maybe they pay better, have better benefits, better commission, better chances of moving up, better chances of not getting fired... etc? No you just ran your mouth because you think you know whats going on and you like to crap on peoples threads...

Think about it for a minute, say you have 2 reps, one working directly for VZW and one in an agent store. Say they both sell the exact same phone/plan/features to a customer. The VZW rep gets his commission right from VZW. The agent store rep's commission first goes to the owner of the store/chain, then to him. Do you honestly think that the 2 commission amounts are going to be the same?

Maybe is the key word here...So you are telling me VComm Wireless has full medical benefits, 401k w/matching, tuition reimbursement, free cell phones, paid time off, shall I go on? I mean, they are such a small corporation, they don't show up on Google, and you are using a gmail address!

And better chance of not getting fired? How did you come about this conclusion? Agent stores come and go as the wind changes direction.

And yes I realize that Harris Teeter not only sells Harris Teeter brand potato chips, but also Lays and Doritos. You should take Business 101-that is the difference between a reseller (Walmart, Staples, etc) and an agent store (your "Verizon" store.)

Think about this.

I know exactly how much Verizon pays per activation and upgrade etc etc... And believe me, a rep working at a Corporate store, Vs a Rep at an agent store get paid just about the same. They do NOT get full commissions on the amount from Verizon.. I know how much get paid in both situations.

As far as the maybes... YES there are THOSE benefits. These are not for part time employees though. so they were never part of the equation.

As far as Vcomm is concerned. Its is reletively small now, yes you're right there. There are 8 stores as of now, and will be another 50 stores within 2 years. Thats fast growth. Growth + a foot in the door = higher paying jobs opening up that need filled. You don't really know about Corporate quotas and such, so you wouldn't know the chances of getting fired...

But, I'm not here to argue with you anymore. Im just letting people know there is an oppertunity out there for part time work right now. If you don't want it, keep your mouth shut, you really don't know all of what you're talking about. I have part-time employees that make 12-13$ an hour easily. It's not hard work, and its money, if you have nothing positive to contribute then take yourself and move along. There is enough people trolling these forums, you can do us all a favor and just give it a break for a while..
