Anyone have one? I'm thinking of getting one but have yet to find anyone who has one. What are your thoughts on this phone? 2/5/2007 7:28:20 PM |

battery life is meh, but yeah, they do give you another battery. just keep it in the car or your jacket pocket.

I played with this and the blackberry pearl, and based on the low battery life and inability to sync with a mac, I went with the pearl.

another reason I chose it was because of its ability to sync with exchange servers without bullshit blackberry software having to be loaded (on the server) 2/6/2007 5:56:23 PM |

Went in and played around with one today....Im not sure I even want a qwerty keyboard on my phone, I am so fast at texting with a standard number layout I dont know if I wanna switch, not to mention I can text with one hand while driving. Seemed like it had a lot of features, but not really sure how practical it will be for me. 2/6/2007 8:25:34 PM |

I wasn't bragging, I am sure everyone can do it, I was just implying its almost impossible to do with a qwerty layout on a phone. 2/6/2007 9:02:17 PM |

I find myself texting more now that I have the qwerty keyboard. Also replying to emails. One handed. While driving. 2/6/2007 11:31:18 PM |

I started to look at the Blackjack to replace my S710a since I already have cingular
But I'll probably just end up getting a Pearl whenever MS blesses them internally. 2/6/2007 11:47:10 PM |

I work with cellphones all day, and I'll give you this advice:
Don't buy a Samsung. Don't ever buy a Samsung. As nice as one might seem, it WILL break or malfunction in some completely debilitating way within 8 months. Beyond that, the user interfaces on them are apalling. If you're looking more for a boss phone, go for the SE w810i. If you're looking for a solid smartphone, check out the Blackberrys. The blackjack tries to be both, and each only half-assedly. 2/7/2007 3:22:22 PM |
