Yeah, I'll second Brigs, Lucky 32, Irregardless, and the Art Museum. Haven't been to any of them in a while because I never have time, but they are all amazing. Brigs and Lucky32 are much more traditional. For Irregardless Cafe you must have an open mind, but I find their cuisine to be absolutely amazing (and they've expanded their menu to non-vegetarian items as well).

Vin (Glenwood South) is really good for brunch (it's far more reasonably priced than dinner there), so if you regularly eat at places like Porter's, 518 and and Irregardless (all delicious choices), I'd go with something a little different. Also, dinner is much better at Irregardless than brunch.

HOWEVER, Farmer's Market is a good experience for any out of towners.

Thanks guys! The art museum is a def consideration, I didn't even know they did brunch. VIN is not on my list because I'm not too fond of some of the ownership, but yes, the brunch is fantastic.

Has anyone eaten at Bogart's/heard anything about it?

We ate somewhere that was really good for Sunday Brunch. It was across the street from the Walmart in Garner, next to where the blockbuster was. Too bad I can't remember the name of it. Had super-delicious poppyseed muffins.

I was not impressed at all by the food at the art museum when we ate there before the monet exhibit. The State Club does a good Sunday Buffet, and I can also second brigs.

i've heard all good things about brigs, but i do know that the farmers market has good ole country breakfasts and lunch/brunch meals. their bbq chicken is really good, and everyone at our table that got breakfast was pleased. (this was a group of 10 or so, on a saturday. everyone liked what they got)

I forgot about NOFO (in 5 points- the old Piggly Wiggly building)...it's good, and there's a bunch of cool junk to look at upstairs.


I just don't get people recommending Hibernian for brunch...sure, they have good beer...but their food (especially brunch) is, well, lackluster
