Demolicious was started in order to provide bands with demo recordings at reasonable rates. no longer does your band have to pack three tons of equipment into your singer's economy sized car, drive two hours to the studio at six in the morning, and spend countless hours (and dollar$) for a decent sounding demo. nope. we've got you covered.

Demolicious will come to your practice space, at a time convenient to you, and it won't cost you an arm and a leg.

Typical Session:

A typical session will consist of an hour of setup. This includes setting up microphones, tuning drums, correcting intonation of guitars and bass, dialing up correct amp settings. We will track the drums with a “junk” guitar track first. Then we will record the guitars and bass. Vocals will be last, and then mastering. We will mix as we record (to minimize time required) and apply any plugins that may be required to get the desired sounds.

Please bring in sample cds from other bands as references so we know what kind of sound you are looking for.

Band Expectations:

We will record ANY genre of music!!! Please have ALL songs finalized and ready to record. We do not want to waste our/your time figuring out parts to a song. This is so we can efficiently save bands money and ultimately create a better demo.

1. Have new strings on guitars and basses.
2. Have guitars and basses setup: intonation, 0 fret buzz, noisy pots, and switches. (this will cut
3. down on setup time)
4. Have new attack heads on drums. Inspect resonant heads for dents.
5. No broken cymbals (borrow them from a buddy if you need).
6. Inspect all stands for loose points.
7. Inspect snares for loose or broken strands (buy new strand if needed).

Cost:

We offer a per hour rate of $25/hr, requiring payment up front. Any hours not used will be refunded at the end of the session.

can you prove ownership of all that software? If someone was going to record with you they may want to see. Thats some expensive stuff, esp anteres.

On another note:

I'm a live guy, and if you need to make some noise let me know. We have about 6kw PA (Active, Triamp, JBL, Yorkville, Crown, QSC Powerlight). As well as a Crest GT40 live desk. (40ch, 6+2 aux, 4band fully semi parameric, dual PSU)

Fully Semi: all 4 bands have sweep, none have Q
