i believe it's the same size as a regular arcade cabinet, but has a 15" screen and no coin slot.
everything you want to know is in the link.
target has them on clearance.

you are going to spend a hell of a lot more than $99 if you build it yourself 2/16/2007 9:29:29 AM |

these are not really full size, they stand 62inches when assembled.
They also use SHITTTY components for the joysticks and pretty much everything else and only have a 14" screen.
You can just go to the auctions every other month in Winston Salem and get a REAL standup arcade machine for 50 bucks or less. With a 19-21" monitor, coin doors, and good joysticks and buttons. 2/16/2007 11:25:36 AM |

I built this a few years ago for around $150. Its just a USB controller, but it works pretty well with MAME.

I built this a few years ago for around $1000. It's just a computer with some USB controllers and fully restored cabinet, but it works pretty well with MAME.

^^ All of the buttons are from happshttp://www.happcontrols.com/, and the USB interface and joysticks are from ultimarc http://www.ultimarc.com. Ultimarc is selling I-Pacs (the usb interface) for a lot less now than they were when I built, so it would probably be less than $150 to build now. 2/19/2007 4:21:59 AM |
