Can anyone tell me how to take a picture and edit it so that only one color shows and the rest of the image is black and white? What kind of program do i need, how hard is this to do, etc? 2/19/2007 2:51:35 PM |

Can you be more specific? Do you want a monochrome image, or are your trying to make one of those clichéd images where the flower or someone's eyes are in color when everything else is in greyscale? If you're looking for the latter, follow GraniteBalls's curt, but otherwise correct, directions. 2/19/2007 3:02:25 PM |

with CS2 you can also do this..
select all and then Desaturate. Then use the History Brush to just Paint the original coloring back to wherever you need it. 2/20/2007 2:36:02 AM |

One color?
1. Open up MSPaint. 2. Select a color. 3. Fill entire image with the bucket tool. 4. 5. Profit. 2/20/2007 9:46:42 AM |

OR YOU COULD SCAN A BLACK AND WHITE PICTURE, COLOR IT IN WITH MSPAINT, PRINT IT OUT, AND THEN DO THE HIGHLIGHTS IN CRAYOLA. 2/20/2007 12:07:23 PM |

^^^ the sample tool is great for duplicating that one color you want but its not very practical to use the bucket tool when every adjacent pixel is a slightly different shade. of course its a joke to try and use MSPaint for any photo editing unless you have God-like skillz and major free time (to waste). 2/20/2007 1:20:55 PM |
