^^If you don't tow or off-road, you don't need an suv. You could want one, but you don't need one.

Nice Acura, though.

there seems to be some sort of sticker saying that the mileage was reset at 43K

Honda is involved in a class action law suite involving malfunctioning odometers that resulted in a higher number of miles being recorded than was actually driven. This involved 03-04 models. I received a letter concerning my Accord, so this could be related.

the guy that replaced your cluster is my boyfriends brother! i just thought that was kinda ironic. i saw the name on the door and was like hmm. now ryan is in s.c. and my boyfriend works for Acura.

HA! what do you know? its a small world...For everyone who is wondering: The odometer was replaced because the backlight on it went out, and they couldnt fix it, so they just replaced it, and it started from 0 (the car had 43k miles on it then.) The picture of the door jamb is there to show the sticker, not because of some class action lawsuite !!!

Um yeah, ok.....The car has 49k miles on it, but the odo is only showing 6,000, HMMMMMM, the odometer must be showing more miles than the car actually has. Dont be mad fool.

god damn are you really that stupid? I mean seriously, just kill yourself.

All cars involved in the lawsuit needed to have the odometer replaced. I suggested that this *could* have been the reason that the odometer was replaced. But alas, it was only a backlight issue. Not that it really mattered either way.

You must easily get confused a lot, am I right?

what's with the trolls on this one thread? good god. It's not like he listed the car as having 6199 miles... and didn't bother to post the sticker...

Was the odometer replacement under warranty?

don't understand why your tying to call him out? you do know that the back light on those lcd displays are built into the displays as one unit, unlike your computer monitor lcd's where they are bigger and the back lights are separated.

perhaps you should stop trolling when there's no point to make... I could understand when someone has been called out...

btw, you're the 1st person to mention anything about a lawsuit and you spelled it wrong as lawsuite 1st. Then you say lawsute... and no one understands what the fuck your saying.

what's so complicated? YOU were the only one who couldn't figure out why he said 49K miles and the odometer read 6199. It was very clear to everyone else.

After your confusion, I made a simple statement offering a *possible* explanation of why the odometer had to be replaced. This was not meant to try to insult or imply that the seller had done anything wrong. He took it the wrong way by not understanding what I had wrote.

because I didn't pay attention to that picture. It wasn't stated in the ad nor here. I was asking a real general question. PimpinHonda noted it before you did. Why did you just start calling ppl idiot afterwards and adding hostility to this thread when things are already resolved and answered?

I have an '03 TL and these cars are under a Transmission Warranty. Although mostly the Type S was affected these non-Type S sedans are also under extended warranty meaning that if the transmission fails Acura will fix the transmission 100% up until 100k miles. These are great cars although not that quick they are very comfortable.

True, Transmission warranty is until 109k miles. they did have a bunch of trouble with them until 04 acuras came out.
