a look at eBay would be good, you can probably get a general feel for the price if there's a good amount of cards on there.

I've got a few cards that are very expensive(numbered autographs and such) that need to be sold separate

but the majority is common cards

^^^ take them to a card show, and also get any valuable ones slabbed and graded. There is still a huge market for those cards.

haha, almost no cards are worth alot these days. Unless you consider like $100 alot. But yeah, eBay is a good place to get an idea of what they worth, but even then, they have to be graded to get top value. So pretty much, you are SOL and would be better off just keeping them till the whole card thing comes back into style, if that ever happens.

haha, that would be like that crazy fucking thing on TV where you just mail your gold to some company, and they send you a check for what the think its worth.

Common cards and sets you're probably best off burning them. Well actually that would require you to spend money for the fuel, matches, etc

Best option is to give them to your kids as a gift some day and pretend they actually have value.

If its not graded, vintage, or rare it isnt worth shit.

yep, get a beckett

the ones worth 20+ bucks, send them in to a Grading place and get em graded and sealed.

Then put em on ebay.

Gettin the things graded isn't cheap, but its the only way ANY cards are worth shit anymore

my coworker buys/sells on ebay. We saw a Derek Jeter card with a missprint (the name was "Bush") on it and it auctioned for $500.

I have a whole trunk full also,25 HOF's on baseballs, and 2 hall of fame bats that I have been offered $1500 ea for about 5 years ago. That is not alot compared to the Wagner card, but it is all going to my son when he is old enough. So in 15 years that stuff should be worth at least a little more.
