oh, hello Scott

You actually liked the first one?

I thought it wasn't anything better than just okay. Then again, I'm really not a zombie movie kind of girl.

28 days later is definitely my favorite zombie plague movie. I personally think the directing was right on, especially during rainy scenes.

so speaking of Shaun of the Dead, Alison Owen is the executive producer AS WELL AS the mother of the amazing and beautiful Lily Allen.

I <3 Lily Allen

I enjoyed 28 Days Later...thought it was a cool concept...seeing an empty city and whatnot...or seeing the red in the eyes of the priest in the church early on, etc

I will probably see 28 Weeks Later

as long as its not about Bullock and Keanu Reeves and some fucking gay 2 year mailbox

a pretty good movie? that was one of the worst pieces of garbage i've ever seen...those two were great in Speed and even Speed 2...but wow the Lakehouse was HORRIBLE imo

^Ha, Keanu Reeves wasnt in Speed 2...it was Jason Patric.
I havent seen The Lake House, but it sounds ridiculously stupid, and if you thought Speed 2 was good it must be really bad.

OT, Ill probably see this at some point, but with no one from the originals cast or Danny Boyle, it doesnt look very promising. Dawn of the Dead is still the best zombie movie Ive seen (original, mind you, not the shitty remake)...have yet to see Shaun of the Dead though.

The premise of this one doesn't seem that good to me. I'll probably see it though because I liked the first one.

If it's anything like 28 days later it will be good as long as you try really really hard not to think about any of it. That movie was full of discrepancies.

"Seven months after the rage virus has annihilated the British isles, the US army declares that the war against infection has been won, and that the reconstruction of the country can begin. In the first wave of returning refugees, a family is reunited--but one of them unwillingly carries a terrible secret. The virus is not yet dead, and this time, it is more dangerous than ever"

How can it be even more dangerous now? It strikes me as suspicious how they are going to explain someone was a carrier for seven months without symptoms.

More to the point, so they just re-evacuate the city and wait another seven months. Sure, they get another movie out of it, but in the end this virus is destined to lose as long as its incubation period is measured in seconds.

the british sure do love their "post apocalyptic" horror stories don't they? they need to make one about global warming w/ Gore. I mean that would scare the pants outta me.

But seriously, Children of Men, great movie. V for Vendetta, awesome awesome movie. Never seen 28 Days Later, but I bet it would rank up there for me. Zombie/Plague movies freak me out.
