im assuming you are graduating in may?
if so, i would go with the internship...it sounds like a pretty cool experience. you can always get a full time job later. once you start a full time job its tough to do things like this again. 3/13/2007 2:21:49 PM |

internship, cause u wont get a job if you dont have experience...and alaska is nice during the summer.
And you're female, and there's alot of hot single guys in alaska (so I've heard)

I have actually already graduated (Dec).
Yea I am leaning towards the internship just for the "experience". 3/13/2007 2:25:01 PM |

Jobs suck, get out and enjoy Alaska for a few months while you can. Once you start work you'll wake up in 10 years and hate yourself for not doing something exciting before you started. 3/13/2007 2:26:51 PM |

haha, coincidently, my dad is pushing for the internship because he says, "I am living vicariously thru you." 3/13/2007 2:28:14 PM |

Internship. That's what I did after I graduated and they hired me on full time several months afterwards. 3/13/2007 2:58:06 PM |

it is a position that would be helping maintain a historical house in Juneau Alaska. bording is free with a stipend. 3/13/2007 3:00:34 PM |

I'd be all over that internship if I were you. Working is over-rated. I try and sneak out of the working world every five years and disappear for a few months. Best plan I've ever had. Appalachian Trail, Mississippi River, and something else in a couple of years.

1 vote for internship here
Those things are what get you the jobs in your field down the road anyways. 3/13/2007 5:11:03 PM |

Pursue all opportunities that are available. If the internship presents itself foremost, take it and enjoy a different view of the world. It will also take away the time factor for the full-time hunt. 3/13/2007 5:42:56 PM |

Experience will help you a lot more.... then when you're searching for a FT job, you go in w/ more than others trying to get the same positions. Internship, FTW. 3/16/2007 9:18:53 AM |

Experience > Unemployment
Plus Alaska in the summer would be an awesome experience. I'm jealous. 3/16/2007 10:02:29 AM |

Internship, hands down. Experience leads to a job in your choice profession. Also, if the internship goes well, it may open doors down the road for similar positions with that group. 3/16/2007 10:28:20 AM |
