I know there a bunch of free tools out there but most of the ones I found seem a bit fishy as far as trusting them to be what they say. I need to monitor a connection to an IP. Ping it maybe once or twice a minute.
The end use is for this Time Warner crap. I've found the source of the problem and it's either the first hop or the route to the first hop. I want to monitor the connection to tell them exactly when the problems start and end. It would be nice if it had a graphical interface for me to easily view what times it starts and ends. As of Friday it started happening at random intervals instead of the usuall 5:45 time. Since I'm not on my computer all day I need to see when it's happening to show one of their engineers who's coming out monday.
(yes, I don't understand why they don't monitor it themselves but I'm happy enough we're getting someone out here) 3/18/2007 5:14:51 PM |
