My laptop's time is always incorrect after a restart. Windows XP is my operating system. I searched tww and google and couldn't find an easy explanation. Does anyone know how to correct this problem? Many thanks... 3/28/2007 11:15:21 PM |

have you ran all the windows updates? That's where I would start if you haven't. 3/28/2007 11:31:22 PM |

ok, is it always reset to the same time? or a certain deviation from the actual time? Have you ran HijackThis or anything else? Is it set to autosync? 3/28/2007 11:40:14 PM |

Also, make sure it's set to correct for daylight savings time. 3/29/2007 3:38:32 AM |

My work computer was skipping an hour at least 3 times a day after DST changed. I would correct it and it would be fast with in an hour. I finally cut off the automatic check for DST and that fixed the problem. 3/29/2007 8:56:41 AM |
