Best pitcher in the majors, solid lineup, though they're in the best division in the majors

If Mauer and Morneau can keep things moving the Twins should have a good shot at battling for a playoff spot down the stretch

your best players are a pitcher and a catcher. end of discussion.

and by two to three hours, I meant five minutes.

the twinkies are looking good. i think they can easily win the central. however, their starting pitching is a little thin behind Johan.

Their organization and management will handle the rest of the pitching staff as they seem to handle all their problems year in and year out. Don't forget outfielder Michael Cuddyer had a really big last year batting over .300. If Louis Castillo can step up in the lead-off spot and some young pitchers like Matt Garza and Boof Bonser will step up like they did at the end of last season, Twins will for sure ge the number 2 spot in the division, if not the number 1. Watch out for the A.L central getting the wild card this year.

Torii is the leader of that clubhouse, has been for the past 5 years. We could use some big offensive numbers from him, but his defense really sets an example

yes and Redmond had a big hit in the 5th(?) during the 5 run inning...and in hindsight how big was that throwing error on the double play attempt that inning where the 6th run scored

hopefully torii will be back soon

Crede, try winning the division 4 out of the last 5 years with a $63,396,006 payroll..

The Sox's is $102,750,667. Big difference

damn 1 title in 85 or so years and all the sudden you're a typical yankees/unc/cowboys fan

also you might want to call 2 years ago a World Serie...since you havent even seen your team win more than 1

If we are going by most recent success... you shouldn't be talking considering you didn't make the playoffs last year, AFTER you won the world series...

what are you the Carolina Hurricanes.. pathetic

^^pay me a $12,000,000 salary and I'd probably let you hit me with an 85 mph fastball in the mouth without a half-assed temper tantrum. class act, that guy.

^yeah, it's tough scoring runs on the royals..
