I searched and there was a topic on the LG VX8600 but it was over 90 days old. But anyway alltel recently got the LG AX8600 which is the same as the verizon VX8600 but with different colors, I was just wondering how the mp3 player sounds, right now I use my Motorola e815 as an mp3 player, but when I use the headphones I can barely hear it, plus I notice the music only plays out of one ear piece. My question about the LG is... how loud is the music when using headphones and is it capable of playing music through both headphone ear pieces or one, plus are you able to listen to the music through a blue tooth headset? 4/8/2007 1:26:15 AM |

>how loud is the music when using headphones I listen to it on the subway all the time and hear it just fine. Definitely loud but not really really loud.

THe key is to buy the right headset. Most headsets also allow you to receive incoming calls and switch to talk also. I used to own a bluetooth headset for these that also had a unit that displayed caller id, and what song you were playing. Worked great but I took it back--too many wires hanging around my neck. Besides the phone is small enough to sit comfortably in my pocket.

had this phone for 3 days and returned it. Great phone, but I couldn't get over the insane amount of fingerprints all over it. May sound dumb, but it's real bad. But if you can handle that, I would recommend the phone 4/8/2007 9:10:05 PM |

My VX8600 is the best phone I have ever used.
Pros: Most importantly it gets service where/when others don't and makes great quality calls. Less important: looks good and is thin. Least important: lots of features most of which I don't use and probably will never use.
The only con is fingerprints but not enough to bother me.
Sorry I can't speak on the Mp3 quality because I don't use it but I know bluetooth headsets can be used to play music on this phone. 4/9/2007 4:26:15 PM |
