The company I work for needs someone to come in and do some LabView programming for a machine we are building. If you or someone you know are familiar with the program and want some extra money, get in touch with me. We'll schedule a time for you to come in and check out what we are doing.

labview is like playing "the incredible machine" for a couple days.
the 200th time you have done a string -> number conversion you just wish it was in any text based programming language
i guess the benefit is a decent looking gui in a matter of minutes 4/13/2007 8:08:47 AM |

rtards...
labwindows is really nice, but its much more for real programmers.
Labview is programming for dummies, that is amazingly effective.

The ECE student would be the most likely to know LabVIEW and they are in EB2 on Centennial Campus. 4/14/2007 11:58:02 PM |

yeah, you know, the ECE student. he'll know. ask him
FTR, they dont teach LabView, or anything like it, in ECE. Labview is "engineering for dummies"
you'd be more likely to find someone in CALS who works with LabView. It's basically marketed for science folks who dont know how to program beyond Excel VBA.
