^ you dont have to use those devices in order to get the exploit on to the box. I hot swapped all the boxes i've modded. Takes a little more time but you dont have to acquire the original items this person is looking for.

just go to EB Games and check out their selection. That's what I did...and pick up a mem card for $10....trust me...it's WELL worth it. If you plan on upgrading the harddrive...that's another issue.
