we just put in a cluster of these things: http://www.stonesoft.com/en/products_and_solutions/supported_platforms/fw_vpn_appliances/sg-250e/

we have 2 broadband connections that go to each firewall, with a crossover between them and then each going to our routers

they have failover, of course, which our old equipment did. what's cool about this is that our vpn connections stayed up dyamically when either of the firewalls lost power, or either of the internet connections went down

we haven't had that before. they were well worth the money for us. thought i'd share the props for a great piece of equipment.
