I think Jesus was black or atleast brown skinned like an arabic person because

-The bible said he had hair like wool and feet like clay (which is brown)

-When he was hiding from the Romans he went to Africa, why would a white person go hide in Africa they would stick out too much there.

-He was born in the Middle East, Jesus looked like a normal person, and a normal person in the Middle East is brown.

- Why do most people think Jesus was white, because everybody wants the son of God to be like them. Since white people out number everybody else in America, the general ideal that Jesus is white.

Well this is silly, they went to EGYPT, where the indigenous population would look more Arab than anything else (mostly because that's what they were), and there still would have been a lot of white people there because it was such an important region.

I'm sorry, you're right; but they do call themselves "the Arab Republic of Egypt" and have historically aligned themselves closesly with Arabs, especially in the last century, and they would be largely indistinguishable to someone not particularly familiar with them.

Well now the country is yes, but the Arabs didn't invade Egypt until several centuries after Jesus was around. That whole Islam thing ya know... Before the Islamic invasions(and the Turks, and the Franks, and the Mongols, and the Turks again) the people of Egypt and the Levant were far different than they are now.

Heck, no one can know what Jesus looked like merely for the fact that the area that he came from has been smack in the middle of countless invasions and thus has become a huge mix of genetic diversity. Heck, in Lebanon I saw people that were lighter skinned than me and some that were darker than a lot of American blacks.

False. This region was heavily populated by decendents of the Kushites during this time even after the invasions from assyrian and the persians. They were black/darker skinned people. Not Arab looking at all. Kushites founded what we refer to as Egypt and it formed a learning center for that region of the world.

Today they look more "Arab". Due to genertations upon generations of Arab influence and movement into the region. But that region was not initially occupied by Arab people. Africans dominated and occupied that region for centuries even after invasion by nearly every group in that area.

Wait, are you saying that you think ancient Egyptians were like sub-saharan Africans? Where did you get this from? Sounds like that silly Afro-centric world view...

No one knows what the Ancient Egyptians looked like, we never will... But it is likely they looked more like other North African and Mesopotamian races, since it was much easier to travel along the east-west axis than the south-north axis from Egypt. It's most likely they probably resemble most the Berber/Tuareg nomads of North Africa. But again, no one knows.

Oh, and wasn't Jesus conceived via immaculate conception, so he would look like God or something...
