i'm just looking for a basic backlit keyboard with good "clicky" keys. right now, the only two real contenders are the creative fatality and the saitek eclipse, but i don't know anything about the key feel for either one. anybody know of any others (preferably less than $60) or have a recommendation between those two? 4/16/2007 8:15:45 AM |

I have a Saitek Eclipse. The keys feel nice to me. I don't know what you mean by "clicky," they aren't really loud, but they aren't "squishy" like some keyboards are. 4/16/2007 2:42:23 PM |

i also stand by my G15, it isn't basic, but it can do everything a basic one does...... and so much more. 4/16/2007 5:58:33 PM |

i have an Saitek Eclipse II and i love it, fantastic key pressure, great looks, only downside is that the light shines through the cracks more than the letters/numbers so while it helps, it's not perfect

the g15 is a little over-the-top and rather expensive, if i were going to get a logitech i think i would get the g11--which, as i understand it, is the same thing but w/o the LCD and $20 cheaper. i don't like logitech mice though, so i'm kinda iffy about getting their keyboards4/17/2007 4:56:12 AM |
