Hello, I have a 1994 Ford F150 shortbox 4x4 with a 5spd. It has the 4.9 inline 6 with 158k on it(torque monster). Runs Awesome but has a few flaws on it.. nothing too bad.

(THE GOOD)
Truck runs great with only 158k on it (nothing for the 300 six)
It just had all the fluids changed before i parked it in my parking lot.
It has Brand new rear spring hangers on it.
The 4x4 drive shifts great with no grinding.
New C/D player.
It has a sunroof in it.
Brand new battery in it.

(THE BAD)
The belt squeals for about 30 secs when first started but then stops. Think it is just the belt but I don’t have time to change it.
The windshield has a crack in it.
There are a lot of dents and scratches on it (as I used it as my work truck)
Three of the 33x12.5 tires are getting bald(one is almost new)
Sometimes it shifts into 2nd gear hard.(was told it just needed the clutch to be bleed out?)
It has some rust on the cab corners and what not from the first owner who lived in the OBX.
Needs a driver side mirror.

The truck is a good deal for 1500-0b0 for a good working 4x4 that runs strong and needs little work. There is a lot of life left in it. But i got a new truck and don’t have my landscaping company anymore. It is not doing me any good sitting in my parking lot. Would be a great work truck, daily driver, or even a hunt/trail truck for someone.

^lol, probably. hopefully he means 02 maybe? inspection shouldn't be a big deal. it doesn't have to pass emissions. tires are the only possible issue i see.

i've seen this thing, it's a good truck for the money. someone should buy it.

vehicles older than 96 are only subject to a saftey inspection, because the tail pipe test is no longer done and pre 96 vehicles dont have obdII hookups

LOL yes sorry I was wasted hahahah it was 02 lol not 92 my bad. But it runs like a champ needs mirror on drivers side 5 dolla at pick and pull and windshield 145 dude on CL and some 3 tires and it is ready to go! good deal for $1500 for a 4x4 alot of life left in it runs like a top!

Yea. one tire is almost new but 3 are bad on it. I am not sure NC laws on the windshield but it has a decent crack in it.

depends on how bad the crack is and where. i believe the law is it'll pass as long as the crack doesn't obstruct the driver's view.

those tires might pass also if you get the right guy. they still have a little tread, they're just feathered bad.

those tires will pass. unless you have been blowing doughnuts in the parking lot since last time i saw it.

as far as windshield, whoever gets it can call their insurance company. they will often send someone out there to fix it for free, no deductible or rate adjustments.
