i've been sitting here for about 20 minutes reading, and now my entire field of vision looks like super zoomed in. this happens every now and then. anybody know why this happens?

My eyes do that too sometimes. Especially if I'm watching tv in low lighting. It's like all I can see is the TV if I focus hard enough.

i used to have the opposite happen a lot.

everything seemed really far away, like i was looking through the wrong end of a pair of binoculars.

it was really kind of freaky. i had no idea when it would happen or how long it would last.

You are getting older....also, check to see about uncles and aunts eye conditions....it seems that for me a majority have eye issues so I guess that is what I get to look forward to when I get around 50.....
