I was wondering if anybody has taken ACC 310 in the summer. What are the differences with it as opposed to taking it in the fall?

I am not sure if it's the same workload in the summer, but to give you an idea of the regular workload for that class, you will have two research cases, one practice set (this is somewhat time consuming), three tests, a final and several quizzes. I think you'll have about ten or so chapters that are about thirty plus pages long.

yea i had heard about the regular class load. I''m still tryign to find anyone that has taken it in the summer.

i took 310 and 311 last summer with williams then giles. it was a lot of work really fast , but i was verrrryyy happy to get both of them over with. i felt it was a lot more relaxed and all i had to turn in was homework (no cases), but it could be different in a different session.

You'll probably need to buckle down over summer, but I'm sure it's easier compared to doing it over the year. The thing about accounting is remembering anything and I assume the summer session of "shoving it down your throat" will keep it fresher in your head then compared to doing it during the year. I took both during the year though because I am an accounting major so I felt I needed to experience the "full onslaught" so to say

I heard the summer session is harder then the regular semester. I think the first test is within a week of the start of the session and its like 3-4 chapters. Its a lot of stuff, mostly review. There is basically a test a week.
